THE AUDACITY started the way most good things do — with a feeling no one asked us to explain.

We were tired of statement tees that felt like bumper stickers. Tired of "empowerment" that looked like it was designed in a boardroom.

Tired of choosing between clothes that said something and clothes we actually wanted to wear.

So we made both.
